I do not quilt, my wife does, so this was for her! As someone who does other art work, however, this book almost makes me tempted to try it. The book has great images of the Authors quilts that are worth looking at for their own sake, and she presents quilts as more of a canvas for cut fabric, textures, other materials, and even painting. If you think traditional quilting is ho-hum, this book introduces an an entirely different approach to making them. It is worth getting just to see the amazing artistic quilts.

This is my second Ellen Anne Eddy book, the first being Thread Magic. I really love them both, with the Thread Magic Garden being my favorite. Her sewing style is magical and her explanations easy to follow. I don't think I'll ever be an Ellen Anne Eddy, but it's fun giving it a try. The book is presented well, the pictures are wonderful and very colorful and inspiring. Amazing, really. This is definitely one of my go-to books for thread work and design. Highly recommended.

I have several thread painting books and this one is the best tutorial to those of us new to thread painting.

This is such a great book, Like I said in another feed back, I love that Amazon offers the look inside feature, that way I know what I am getting before I get it and know if I am going to like it. This has some stunning projects that look much harder to make then they actually are and I cannot wait to get started on these projects!!

I love the easy to read step by step instuctions and the sample images. I also love giving details on types of thread and needles to use with the supply list. Gives me some ideas of how to begin my own project.

I have a project right now in my sewing room and will be using this as a reference. Nice to read and great ideas and this will be a nice addition to quilts and clothing.

I enjoyed Ellen Eddy's class on these techniques. The book is a kind reminderof what skills we learned and enjoyed.
