This book was a birthday present for a 6 year old map lover, and while I was told the child loved it, I wished it had more details/separation of states/regions for the countries. Each country was described at a VERY high-level. I thought the pop-ups were pretty good, but if you love maps, you wouldn't be able to use this as one, really.

My granddaughters love this. I bought this book because I remember the pleasure of carefully lifting a little flap in a book and finding a surprise. I'm always looking for interesting, educational lift-the-flap books and this one was greatly appreciated.

Wonderful and creative book. Only reason for 4 stars is that it is very generic on boarders between states, provinces, territories etc. Still a great book for kids (and adults) to learn about the world we travel on.🗺🌐

The drawings are really great, pop up geography book for a young kid that teaches facts about every place on Earth. GREAT BOOK for LEARNING. This book makes learning FUN

Ordered for my 5 year old, but it's very wordy and doesn't have as many pictures as I was hoping. I may just save this for him for when he gets a bit older.

This is an absolutely wonderful book. It was purchased for a six-year-old who is very interested in geography. This book is not only beautifully done but is packed with fascinating information. In reading the book with my grandson I was reminded of long-forgotten geography facts. I loved the various tabs and surprises found within the pages of this really terrific book. Any child (or adult) interested in the word of which they are a part will adore this book.
